Open on February 1, 2006. Permanent exposition is a part of the path for visitors of the cave. It is oriented on popular and educational presentation of cave bear (Ursus spelaeus) as one of the biggest extinct predators (Carnivora), which ever lived in the European continent. New features of the expositions are the reconstruction of skeleton and unique life-size sculpture of this animal, located in cave interior. Both enlarged the previous collection of bones, teeth, claws and skulls, presented for visitors in the palaeontological showcase in Kostnica and other underground spaces. There are two boards in front of the cave that supplement this exposition and offer general information on the body size and weight, origin and distribution, habitat, reproduction, food and reasons of extinction of the species as well as specific data concerning the local finds in the Važecká Cave. The third board is oriented to other cave animals like bats and invertebrates.
