COVID admission regime for show caves

Dear visitors

due to dynamically changing situation in Slovakia, we shall keep you updated on application of COVID AUTOMAT with respect to individual show caves. The caves will be operated either in the BASIC or VTO regime. The basic regime means admission of all visitors with possible restriction of number and VTO regime means admission of either only fully vaccinated or negatively tested or those who overcame COVID not later than 180 days ago. The level of risk zone on the other hand sets the rules for wearing either a face mask or a respirator.

Režim ZÁKLAD znamená vstup všetkých návštevníkov s prípadným obmedzením počtu a režim OTP znamená vstup plne zaočkovaných, negatívne otestovaných a tých, čo prekonali ochorenie COVID pred menej ako 180 dňami.

Klepáčovej, riaditeľa SSJ J. Zuskina a hostí z VÚC Žilinského kraja, úradov životného prostredia, ŠOP SR, urbárov a pod.

International Year of Caves and Karst

The Slovak Caves Administration as a member of the International Show Caves Association (ISCA) fully supports the initiative of the International Speleological Union (UIS) to declare the year 2021 the International Year of Caves and Karst. In spite of their occurrence, the benefits of caves and karst are not commonly known to many people on the planet. So the main goal „EXPLORE, UNDERSTAND and PROTECT“ is our task for this year 2021.
