Belianske Tatras
The mountain range is formed by a distinct 14 km long limestone ridge, spreading in east-west direction, lying almost perpendicularly to the ridge of the High Tatras. The mountain range has no tarn but despite it is considered one of the most beautiful and naturally richest part of the Tatra Mountains. Nutritious limestone soils offer here much diversified flora as compared with the High Tatras. Let us mention the most typical flower – alpine edelweiss (Leontopodium alpinum).

Važecká Cave
Located in the Važecký Karst on the contact of the Kozie chrbty with the Liptovská Basin, on the western edge of the Važec village between the Liptovský Mikuláš and Poprad.
Demänovská Cave of Liberty
Located on the right side of the Demänová Valley, in the northern part of the Low Tatras, in national nature reserve Demänovská Valley within the territory of the Low Tatras National Park.
Demänovská Ice Cave
Located on the right side of the Demänovská dolina, on the northern part of the Low Tatras Mts. It is situated in the National nature reserve Demänovská Valley and in the territory of the Low Tatra National Park.
Tatranská Lomnica
Important tourist-recreational centre on the road of Freedom, starting point to central and eastern part of the High Tatras. Tatranská Lomnica was established in 1892 in the territory of Veľká Lomnica by the Ugrian Forest Treasury as the first climatic locality in the High Tatras. The settlement is a seat of the State Forests of the Tatra National Park administration (TANAP). Since 1968 is their research station and museum located in the building, for which the designer Pavol Merjavý won the prize of Dušan Jurkovič.

Kežmarok
Is the seat of district and one of the Spiš' centers of cultural life and tourism of the below-Tatra region. More than seven centuries are reflected in the architecture, which contains every building style – Roman, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. A curiosity is the urbanistic arrangement of the square of fork shape with the town hall in the centre and terminated by the castle. Kežmarok is one of the significant town monument reserves of Slovakia with many historical monuments.

Spišská Belá
The town of Spišská Belá is located in the northern part of the Popradská Basin, at elevation of 631 m. Its territory consists of the Belianske Tatry Mts. and plain part of the basin, with brooks and streams flowing across. One of them – Belá – gave the town its name.

Ždiar
Ždiar village is situated in the Ždiarske podolie in the valley of Biela. A part of the territory is on the slopes of the Spišská Magura Mts. the village lures the fans of winter sports and tourism, with excellent skiing terrains and good infrastructure. At present the village has 1,307 inhabitants and the territory of 2,020 hectars.
