Expositions and exhibitions in cave entrance buildings bring the visitors the knowledge on origin and evolution of cave spaces, cave fauna, palaeontological and archaeological findings, cave development for public, on protection and research of caves.

Exposition in the entrance building of the Jasovská Cave

Open on May 27, 1997. The first part contains information on geological and geomorfological settings of the Jasovská Cave and its surrounding, on forms of flowstone fill, speleoclimatic and hydrological settings of the cave, palaeontological findings and cave fauna. The second part presents the cave within the framework of the national nature reserve Jasovské dubiny in the Slovak Karst National Park and healing speleoclimatic treatment in the cave.

Exposition in the entrance building of the Dobšinská Ice Cave

Open in 1997. Consists of 6 boards. The first part presents karst phenomena of the Slovak Paradise, cave system of the Stratenská Cave, glaciation of the Dobšinská Ice Cave, geomorfological things of interest of the Slovak Paradise, the second part shows the history of the Dobšinská Ice Cave, its discovery, development for tourists and scientific research of ice fill.

Environmental and educational exposition in the Domica Cave

The previous exposition of original archaeological finds and flowstone decoration was installed in showcases of the Domica Cave entrance building. This exposition was enlarged in 2004-2005 by 5 other showcases with illustrative demonstration of karren, dolines, caves, archaeological objects and historical exposition. The showcases are supplemented by 8 panels, which represent basic types of karren, dolines, caves, rock shapes in caves, flowstone fill, cave animals, archaeological objects in Domica and the role of water in karst. A room with large screen for presentation of educational and pedagogical films was set up in the entrance building. An exposition of basic rocks of the Slovak Karst is located in the exterior.

Zoopalaeontological exposition in the Važecká Cave

Zoopalaeontological exposition in the Važecká Cave

Open on February 1, 2006. Permanent exposition is a part of the path for visitors of the cave. It is oriented on popular and educational presentation of cave bear (Ursus spelaeus) as one of the biggest extinct predators (Carnivora), which ever lived in the European continent. New features of the expositions are the reconstruction of skeleton and unique life-size sculpture of this animal, located in cave interior. Both enlarged the previous collection of bones, teeth, claws and skulls, presented for visitors in the palaeontological showcase in Kostnica and other underground spaces. There are two boards in front of the cave that supplement this exposition and offer general information on the body size and weight, origin and distribution, habitat, reproduction, food and reasons of extinction of the species as well as specific data concerning the local finds in the Važecká Cave. The third board is oriented to other cave animals like bats and invertebrates.
